The assault caused the partial closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A 24-year-old man, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at approximately 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
